Swatch x Audemars Piguet Royal Pop Wrist Straps
When Swatch and Audemars Piguet revealed the Royal Pop, a pop-art reimagining of the Royal Oak in eight bioceramic colorways, the first question out of every comment section was the same: where's the wristband? The watch ships with a calfskin lanyard and a desk stand, no strap included, and the aftermarket responded within days. Wrist Buddys encloses the watch module in a fitted outer chassis that connects to a textured FKM rubber strap, with a silhouette that owes more to the Royal Oak Offshore than the lanyard it replaces, planned across all eight colorways. Delugs, the Singapore strap specialists behind Project WristPop, are engineering two case-strap designs, one that rotates the crown to a driver's-watch angle on the six Lépine models, and a second built around the asymmetric layout of the two Savonette references. Strapsi takes the most integrated approach, with a brushed metal bracelet silhouette color-matched to each dial and available in two crown positions.
