Unicat MD56c Expedition Vehicle

Unicat's MD56c is part expedition vehicle, part motorhome, and part mobile command center, built on MAN's massive TGS 26.540 6x6 chassis. At almost 27 feet long, the MD56c's living area is a fiberglass-and-composite construction mounted to a steel frame that connects to the MAN chassis via a three-point kinematic system. A portal in the driver's compartment or a fold-out teak staircase allow access to the module. The module has its own plumbing, shower, and bathroom, a dinette with induction cooktop and microwave, and a 1,850-watt solar array charging a 24.6 kWh battery pack to keep everything powered — although a Honda generator is included as a backup. For tighter spots that the MD56c can't get to, an optional rack can carry two motorcycles or a side-by-side.
