Netflix has adapted Death Note into a live-action film. Based on the Japanese manga series, Light Turner gains possession of a supernatural book. The book possesses the power to kill any person just by writing their name in the pages. Using its power for good, Turner begins to take out evils of the world one by one. Head by Blair Witch director Adam Wingard, the film will begin streaming August 25, 2017.
