Winnebago Ekko Motorhome
Overlanding, vanlife, off the grid — no matter how you describe it, recreational vehicles have made a comeback. The iconic American motorhome manufacturer Winnebago isn't about to let the market go untapped and has introduced the Ekko for year-round, sustainable RVing. The Ekko is built on the Ford Transit platform and features all-wheel-drive and a 310 horsepower EcoBoost V6. The roof, walls, and floor are insulated, meaning that along with the drivetrain, the Ekko isn't limited to just the summer travel season. 455 watts of electricity can be generated and stored in lithium-ion batteries from the Ekko's deployable solar panels, along with being recharged by the engine while driving. The Ekko should arrive at dealers at the beginning of 2021.
