1986 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60 SUV

A 1986 FJ60 Land Cruiser built by Legacy Overland is being auctioned on Bring a Trailer. The Connecticut-based shop completed the FJ60 before it came to the current owner in 2021. The extensive restoration included recoating the frame, rebuilding the 4.2-liter inline-six engine, four-speed manual, and transfer case, and brakes. A two-inch lift with Old Man Emu shocks and steering stabilizer were fitted, and the FJ60 rides on BFGoodrich 33-inch tires. The interior has been reupholstered in distressed brown leather and Harris Tweed tartan inserts on the seats and door cards with German square-weave carpets. Air conditioning, crank windows, and an eight-speaker JBL sound system make the interior much more inviting than when the SUV was new. The odometer shows 532 miles and was most likely reset during the restoration, meaning this Land Cruiser is good for at least another 40 years of service.
