2019 Porsche 718 T

Porsche unveiled the driver-centric 911 Carrera T to rave reviews, with its vintage 911 approach of stripped-down, essentials-only options and reduced weight. Now Porsche is giving its 718 Cayman and Boxster the T treatment, making what are arguably Porsche's most driver-focused cars even better. Top on the list is what you won't get in the 718 T — an infotainment system to save weight, although it is available as an option. Under the rear bonnet, the Cayman and Boxster retain the turbocharged flat four, good for 300 horsepower and a 0-60 sprint of 4.7 and 4.9 seconds respectively, same as the regular versions. Additional equipment includes a six-speed manual or PDK paddle-shift, 20mm lower ride height, torque vectoring system, and 20-inch wheels. Expect these purist T editions to slot in just below the starting price for similarly-equipped models.
