Nissan has unveiled its heavy redesigned Frontier pickup, due to launch in Summer 2021. Gone is the "friendly" styling of the outgoing model. Taking cues from the Hardbody that ran from 1985 to 1997, the new Frontier has an upright stance and flat, blocky lines that make its purpose unmistakable. Underneath the new skin is a frame that dates back to 2005, although it features improvements aimed at improving ride and reducing noise, vibration, and harshness. Inside is a totally new interior, bringing a large touchscreen and electronic features that have become standard new car fair. Power comes from a new V6 making 310 horsepower — a best-in-class number. Nissan will announce pricing closer to the launch date.
