Ram's answer to the Ford Raptor, the TRX, comes from the factory with a 702 horsepower supercharged V8 and heavy-duty running gear. Hennessey decided that wasn't enough and promptly got to work on the Mammoth 1000, adding another 309 horsepower for a total of 1,012 — the most powerful Ram truck to leave Hennessey's facilities. Backing up that 1,012 horsepower and 969 lb-ft of torque is an eight-speed automatic transmission and permanent four-wheel-drive, combining for a claimed 0-60 sprint in just 3.2 seconds. Along with the motor and drivetrain upgrades is Hennessey's Stage 1 suspension package, with a 2.5-inch lift, custom front bumper, and 20-inch Hennessey wheels. 200 Mammoth 1000 trucks will be made for 2021.
