TruckHouse BCT Adventure Vehicle

Based in Nevada, TruckHouse is filling a niche in the US — Toyota-based adventure vehicles that rival those that roam the rest of the world. The Toyota Tacoma sold in the US is a light truck, so TruckHouse aims to get the most out of the platform by using a carbon-fiber-reinforced camper shell to minimize weight and maximize amenities and performance. The 500-pound shell features all-around windows, sleeps four with a master queen-size bed, and has a wet bathroom and fully-equipped kitchen. A 500-amp hour Battle Born lithium battery pack with solar panels makes extended off-the-grid trips possible, and powers things like a heated floor for cold climates. The BCT will debut at the 2021 Overland Expo Mountain West, with orders starting thereafter.
