Himalaya x Taylor Stitch Land Rover Pre-Defender SUV

San Francisco-based Taylor Stitch and the Land Rover masters at Himalaya have come together for a Land Rover Series IIA build with all the style and substance you'd expect. Starting with a 1970 Series IIA Pre-Defender, Himalaya replaced the original motor with a '90s 300TDI diesel and automatic transmission. Disc brakes and power steering were added along with a new hi-fi audio system discretely hidden in the center dash to preserve the spartan interior. From there, Taylor Stitch added the waxed canvas used on their boots for the center console, shift boot, and seats in a light beige that compliments the vintage Aga Blue exterior colorway perfectly.
