Chevrolet's all-new 2023 Colorado ZR2 makes a serious case for being the most capable off-roader in the segment. The chassis is nearly a new design, with a select few areas being carried over, and comes only in a quad-cab configuration. A three-inch lift fits 33-inch all-terrain tires, with Multimatic speed-sensitive spool-valve dampers and driver-selectable front and rear lockers. The sole engine choice is a 2.7-liter turbocharged inline-four making 310 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque backed by GM's second-gen eight-speed automatic. Outside, the styling is a huge leap over the previous model, with taught, atheletic lines, a bull bar, and a ZR2-specific grille. The interior gets the necessary large-format infotainment screen and digital gauges and 10 integrated cameras, including a first-in-class underbody view.
