BMW Motorrad Vision K18 Concept Motorcycle

BMW's Vision K18 was unveiled at the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este on Lake Como, built around a 1,800cc inline-six that dictates every proportion of the bike. The silhouette takes its cues from the Concorde: long, low, and arrow-shaped. The airbox and tank swap positions to flatten the rear line, and the wide carbon-framed tail houses six exhaust pipes. Six intake runners and six LED headlights repeat the cylinder count throughout. Body panels are hand-formed aluminum, including one seamless side panel over six and a half feet long, contrasted with forged carbon. Suspension is hydraulically lowerable. A one-off concept.
