Cyan Racing Volvo P1800 Restomod
Introduced in 1961, the Volvo P1800 was a radical departure from the company's more staid cars — and one of the best-looking cars to enter production. The P1800 was more tourer than sports car, and received a massive boost in popularity when Roger Moore drove one in The Saint TV series. Founded in 1996 as the Volvo works team for the Swedish Touring Car Championship, Cyan Racing is turning the humble P1800 into a serious sports car befitting its looks. A 2.0-liter turbocharged four can be configured from 350 to 420 horsepower, with a completely reworked chassis and adjustable suspension for serious work in the turns. New seats, sound-deadening materials, and a titanium roll cage are all part of the package. Cyan Racing is taking orders for its P1800 now, with a build time of 12-18 months.
