Dark & Stormy Cocktail Recipe
There's nothing like a storm to break the rhythm of the ocean, with the storm's violence juxtaposed against the calm of the shoreline. This classic recipe recreates the dichotomy in a single glass. First developed in Bermuda post-WWI, it's just as tasty when landlocked as it is on a soon-to-be-rainsoaked beach, and slightly more complex than its vodka-based cousin, the Moscow Mule.
Ingredients:
1.5oz float Blackstrap Rum
.5oz Lime Juice
6oz Ginger Beer
Instructions:
Combine blackstrap rum and lime juice in the glass, then carefully top with ginger beer to achieve layering. Garnish with a lime wedge.
