Sazerac Cocktail Recipe

The Creole Old Fashioned that can set you on many a tour in lively New Orleans. This simple blend of Peychaud's bitters, rye whiskey, and sugar is set upon a pedestal laid by an absinthe rinse. If you're daring, pour enough absinthe for the rinse and keep it on the side for a palate cleanser before you mix another one.

Ingredients:
2.25oz Rye Whiskey
.25oz Rich Simple Syrup
6 dashes Peychaud's

Instructions:
Stir all ingredients in a mixing glass and strain into an absinthe-rinsed glass over new ice. Garnish with a lemon peel.
