Inverted Range Rover Classic EV Conversions
The classic Range Rover's looks have aged like fine wine — its drivetrain and overall performance, not so much. UK-based Inverted gives Range Rovers a makeover, with modern amenities and a Tesla-derived powertrain. Working with each client on an individual basis, Inverted updates the Range Rover's interior with materials and design that keeps the distinctly British flavor of the original. The example pictured uses sustainably-sourced Muirhead Mocha leather with Harris Tweed inserts, heated seats, backup camera, a new HVAC system, and a high-end stereo system. Even bigger changes come under the hood, with an 80kWh battery powering a Large Drive Unit sourced from low-mileage Tesla models. Total output is 450 horsepower, with three driving modes, four-wheel-drive, and 200 miles of range. Suspension and brakes are also upgraded to cope with the added power. Inverted is taking orders for its electrified Range Rover classics now.
