In our search for a more customized sound and fit, we've dialed in a pair of headphones from Copenhagen-based AIAIAI tuned by Uncrate editors. Now with a modular Bluetooth 5.0 headband with a built-in microphone, these TMA-2 headphones provide a warm, balanced sound that's perfect for extended listening. Their 40mm S02 drivers have a titanium-coated diaphragm for less distortion and an internal vent for excellent low-end performance. The E04 over-ear pads are built using PU leather-covered soft memory foam to deliver maximum isolation, while the aforementioned H06 headband uses the same combo for added comfort. They ship with a detachable C02 coiled cable that includes a 1/4 to 1/8 screw-on adapter, and a handsome A01 carrying pouch. An ideal mix of punchy, dynamic sound and matte black aesthetics.
A growing record collection requires a storage solution that's as elegant as the machine the vinyl is played on. That's why we turned to Symbol Audio for a limited run of their Dovetail Record Crate. Cut from American White Oak and fully ebonized, the 5/8th-inch thick crate has exposed English dovetail joinery for unsurpassed rigidity that will last for decades. The handles are lined with cuts of shrunken bison hide, attached with tonal hardware. The result is a handsome way to store up to 100 LPs that matches both the Symbol Audio x Uncrate Tabletop HiFi, our Grado headphones, our U-Turn turntable, and our Wesley & Kemp CS112 custom speakers.

Nashville-based Imogene+Willie has long been one of our favorite, slightly-under-the-radar, indie denim makers. In search of creating the perfect pair of selvedge jeans that still incorporate the forgiving element of stretch without years of wear, we partnered with Imogene+Willie to source a fabric that would meet an extremely high standard of material quality. That led us to Japan, where we found the perfect blend of tough-wearing 13-ounce selvedge fabric with 3% stretch. The fabric is one of the toughest on the market, even winning over Imogene+Willie founder and denim aficionado Matt Eddmenson, who prior to this jean would only wear raw selvedge. To finish off the limited release in true Uncrate fashion, we blacked out the fabric, stitching, and hardware and gave each pair a water-dip finish to matte the color of the jeans from the first wear on. Cut in the brand's original and sought-after Barton Slim silhouette that's an ideal fit for most body types, it's a limited run of the jeans we'll be wearing for years to come.

Family-owned Grado Labs has been hand-making high-end audio equipment in its Brooklyn offices since 1955. That heritage made them an ideal collaboration partner, and these holy grail Grado x Uncrate UN2000e headphones are the result, and have been re-released this year in limited quantities. The company's original version — called by reviewers "very likely the best sounding headphones ever made" and "simply an audiophile work of art" — is an open-air design with internal maple parts and mahogany cups that combine with purpose-built 50 mm drivers to create a special resonance inspired by techniques long-used by musical instrument makers. To have ours sound and look our very own, we paired ebonzied oak cups — different types of wood sing with their own personalities — with the internal maple wood to produce an organic sound that's full of unrivaled detail, rich vocals, and a huge soundstage with deep lows. The bison leather headband and ebonized oak finish match our turntable perfectly.
A limited edition collaboration between Vice Golf and Uncrate, the Pro Plus Black offers tour-quality play with an unexpected look. Each ball is produced with Uncrate branding on one side, Vice branding on the other, a KIL (keep in line) putting line for help with alignment, and "Take Dead Aim" lettering in a nod to legendary golf instructor Harvey Penick. Surprisingly easy to spot in-flight against blue skies and white clouds, the matte black cover produces less glare than your traditional white ball, making it easier to spot on bright days, so long as you keep it in play. As for performance, the 4-piece ball combines an extra-thin cast urethane cover for feel and short-game spin, a large High-Energy Speed Core for added distance, and an elastic dual mantle that reduces driver spin and increases carry. As a result, the Vice Pro Plus series, including this Uncrate release, has been awarded to Golf Digest's Gold 2020 Hot List. It's ideal for advanced golfers with high swing speeds approaching or exceeding 110mph, who can expect at least 250 yards of carry from a solid driver strike off the tee. With a durable 336 dimple design, the balls are approved and listed for professional tournament play.

Known for its traditional yet modern look, U-Turn's Orbit Special turntable is becoming a timeless design that needed only minimal enhancements to make it our own. The first thing we did was locate some rift-sawn oak that we ebonized for the turntable's plinth, giving it an extra layer of texture. It's complemented by a mat cut from our signature bison leather, along with powder-coated black tonearm parts, and a custom on/off knob machined especially for this release. Thanks to the built-in pre-amp (no separate receiver or amp required) and pre-installed Ortofon OM 5E cartridge, you can hook it straight up to any pair of powered speakers and start playing, making it ideal if you're just getting into vinyl or just want a no-fuss setup. Also included is a blacked-out cue lever, RCA cables, and a dust cover.
Designed by Uncrate and built by Ronin, our collaboration includes two identical blacked-out motorcycles. Offering a 160 MPH top speed and 130 rear-wheel HP, the limited Uncrate versions receive a satin black airbox cover and black paint on the front and rear main springs, front fork links, and subframe. Smoke gray was used to replace the taillight lens, the cast rearsets replaced with black anodized billet parts from vintage racers, the muffler endcaps repainted in black cerakote, and the entire exhaust wrapped with black header tape. As a finishing touch, the seat was reupholstered in black leather by Clint Wilkinson, giving this unique, limited bike a menacing look worthy of its fierce namesake. Each bike weighs in at 425 lbs. One of the two identical bikes is still available for purchase.

The Inheritance Sofa from LA-based design studio Stephen Kenn has long been one of our favorite pieces. So much so, that one of the early examples of the sofa resides in the Uncrate Studio. To make the piece even more special, we worked with our friends at Stephen Kenn to give their flagship item the Uncrate Collaboration treatment, covering the three-seat sofa in heavy bison leather atop an antique nickle frame. Each foam cushion is first wrapped in down before being upholstered with the blacked-out, pebble grain bison hide, and each is supported by hand-aged black leather belts with tonal nickle buckles. Each Uncrate edition Inheritance sofa is hand-made to order in the Stephen Kenn studio, and production is extremely limited.
Cut from an Ash tree, with the rings and bark left intact, each Barky turntable is beautiful and unique. For our version, we ebonized the slice of Ash and finished it with polyurethane and paste wax for a polished look. It comes with a hefty glass platter and blackened solid brass spike feet, along with an award-winning Rega Elys2 cartridge and super high-end Rega RB330 tonearm with acute stability and nearly friction-free movement. And since the cartridge is already aligned and mounted, your Audiowood x Uncrate Barky turntable goes from unboxing to playing your favorite albums in minutes. 230V 50hz versions for Europe and elsewhere are available via special request at an additional cost. Handmade in New Orleans.

The result of a pattern trade between Edwin Viberg and Bill Danner in the 1970s, we've taken Viberg's classic Hiker boot and added a special ripple sole, gunmetal hardware, and black Horween leather to create this Uncrate edition. The foundation of the Viberg x Uncrate Hiker boot is the Vibram ripple sole, a descendant of the original ripple sole invented in the 1950s to give U.S. paratroopers increased traction and softer landings. The impact-absorbing and long-wearing design of the ripple sole is perfect for nearly any application you can put it through, from mountaineering to long city treks. The handcrafted boot is built with stitchdown construction and 200g Thinsulate, and is naturally waterproof thanks to a whole-cut upper, while a lace-to-toe system provides better support and easier access. Made in Canada.
We suggest taking a half-size down from your normal sneaker size, as sizing listed is "Viberg" sizing.
To embrace the vinyl resurgence, you need a pair of speakers designed for the task. Inspired by the warmth of early 70's hi-fi, when vinyl was at its peak, these Wesley & Kemp Full Range Speakers are handmade in Detroit with the analog format in mind. Housed within each cabinet is a 12" bass driver for deep low end, a 4.5" midrange driver for the fluent warmth you're after, and a frequency range of 32Hz - 17kHz for highs that aim to duplicate a live concert experience. And because great sound and great design should go hand in hand, our custom made CS112's feature a custom black finish to match our Uncrate x U-Turn Turntable , Grado headphones, and Symbol Audio record crate, and Table Top HiFi. Sold as a pair with included removable mesh speaker grilles.

Since 1915, the Moscot family has been selling eyeglasses in New York. And over 100 years later, there are still generations of Moscots waiting for you at Orchard Street when you need some new spectacles or shades. For our lastest collaboration, we dialed up Zack and Harvey Moscot, the king and prince of eyewear, to resurrect a pair of bold frames from their archives that work equally well as sunglasses or eyeglasses.
Limited to only 300 pairs total, the Moscot x Uncrate Ipish is available with polarized G-15 mineral glass lenses or with a simple demo lens for replacing with your own prescription at the eye doctor or eyeglass store of your preference. Made of jet black acetate, the squared frames sport black hinges and rivets, along with subtle gold temple branding and numbering. The 51 x 21 x 143 sizing fits medium to large faces.

A bourbon as special as our Russell's Reserve Single Barrel needed an equally standout vessel. We were already fans of Misc. Goods Co.'s timeless designs, and their location in the heart of bourbon country in Louisville, Kentucky, made the decision to collaborate even easier. The MGCO x Uncrate Decanter is the result. Made with quarter-inch slip-cast ceramic and finished with a black glaze, the seven-fifty decanter is embossed with a prohibition-medicinal design with foil-accented lettering, and topped off with a hefty cork stopper. Ideal for filling with our bourbon, its handsome looks will provide an upgrade for your bar cart or mantle long after you've savored the last drop.
Purchasing a great turntable only to pair it with subpar speakers would be a shame, which is why we partnered with Symbol Audio to produce an all-in-one amplified speaker cabinet that compliments the U-Turn x Uncrate turntable in both appearance and craftsmanship. Combined with any turntable that incorporates a phono pre-amp (such as our own), the tabletop enclosure offers plug-and-play usage. Knowing not everyone is into vinyl, the high fidelity system incorporates a standard 1/8-inch auxiliary mini-jack, allowing you to plug in any number of different audio sources, such as the included Belkin Bluetooth receiver. Powered by a 2.1 channel Class D amplifier, two 4-inch high efficiency full range drivers with titanium cones provide rich sound, while the 5.25-inch down firing subwoofer ensures deep bass response. Available in an Uncrate-exclusive all black Oak housing, each speaker cabinet is fully assembled for immediate shipment.

After bottling the good stuff from our private stock of Russell's Reserve, something needed to be done with the remaining charred American White Oak barrel. That's when we enlisted the assistance of the bespoke knife workshop Join or Die. The result of the commissioned, one-of-a-kind collaboration is a short-blade camp knife finished with a handle made solely from the wood of our single barrel of Russell's Reserve. Each hand-cut handle is given an extra shot of high-heat charring along with an oil blend treatment to seal the grain from moisture. An AEB-L stainless steel blade is then set between the two heavily charred scales before being finished off with tonal carbon fiber pins. Limited to 100 examples, each bourbon barrel knife is sent alongside a custom black leather sheath made to hold this specific blade.
With marijuana legal in nine states and D.C., cannabis strains are already being pored over and compared as closely as rare wine and fine cigars. So when Bloom Farms called us over a year ago to help with a new project, we knew we wanted to do two things — make a sleek, limited edition vapor pen and create a hybrid blend that had never been done before. The result is the Bloom Farms x Uncrate Highlighter Plus featuring Calaveras, a new 50/50 mixture of legendary strains.
The Uncrate-designed, USB-rechargeable pen has a PVD-plated stainless steel enclosure, gunmetal hardware, and an integrated ceramic heating element. Inside is the premium Calaveras oil from sustainably farmed plants, which gets its name from where it's grown by Bloom Farms in Calaveras County, California.
The hybrid oil combines the Jack Herer strain (named after the cannabis rights activist and author), known for enhancing creativity and focus, with AC/DC, a strain known for its high CBD content and often used to mitigate pain without intoxication. The resulting blend balances "uplifting and relaxing properties that encourage simultaneous calmness and creativity."
Sold by Bloom Farms and available today at select dispensaries and cannabis delivery services in California. For every product sold, Bloom Farms donates a healthy meal to a food-insecure family or individual in need.

We wanted a pair of sturdy, American-made sneakers that would get us through fall and winter without having to pull on a pair of boots everyday. Rancourt & Co., the New England shoemaker that has operated for over half a century, was the obvious choice to partner with on the project. Starting with Rancourt's hand-sewn Court Classic Mid sneaker, our own American bison hide was added to give the sneakers a texture not found elsewhere. The uppers are paired with a Vibram Strighton sole and lined the sneaker with Horween casco horsehide. All of which creates an under-the-radar, everyday sneaker that can stand up to any season's weather. Limited to 100 pairs total, each is individually numbered by hand.
Jack + Mulligan's Welles backpack is a prime example of simplicity and versatility. Its slim, minimal exterior belies an interior that conceals a 15-inch laptop sleeve, a zippered pocket, and two patch pockets. Keeping the same timeless silhouette and utility, we've partnered with the brand and reconstructed the backpack it in our bison leather in a stealthy black. We've left the rest of the details, including the padded back panel, water-resistant nylon lining, and comfortable shoulder straps, alone. Crafted in the USA and limited to 50 examples.

Expanding on our latest series of limited edition collaborations, the Topo Designs x Uncrate Rover Pack uses our signature American bison leather as a base for Topo's nearly indestructible Ballistic Cordura fabric construction. This versatile bag holds around 16L of gear, a perfect size for most uses, and has a pack cloth liner and inner sleeve for your laptop. Zippered front and top pockets hold smaller loose items, the side pockets are ideal for water bottles, and the combination drawstring and fold-top closure keeps your most important stuff safe from splashes and showers. Handmade in Colorado.
To pick our first private barrel of bourbon, we chose a legend for a little help. Jimmy Russell is the Master Distiller at Wild Turkey, and for over 60 years, he's been making whiskey at the Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, distillery. A member of the Bourbon Hall of Fame and the longest-tenured active Master Distiller in the global spirits industry, he's the living embodiment of both bourbon's past and present.
On a crisp fall afternoon last year, Jimmy and the Uncrate team sampled several barrels of Russell's Reserve — barrels that have already been pulled aside for their superior quality — inside Wild Turkey's historic Warehouse A, built in 1890 overlooking the Kentucky River. We finally chose a barrel that matured for nine years on the fifth floor of Rickhouse K, and we can't wait to share it.
Jimmy insists that the deepest charred American oak barrels, known as the "alligator" char, are used for Russell's Reserve to bring out the richest flavors and color. That heavy char influences this selection, adding notes of vanilla, caramel, and oak that finishes easy despite its 110 proof strength.

There was no better way to round out the Billykirk x Uncrate collaboration than to include their signature No. 257 Dopp Kit. Already one of the finer examples of a "wash bag" around, our American Bison hide was added as the bottom trim to the waxed canvas exterior to give the already sturdy bag even more heft and attitude. The Ranger Tan nylon interior that runs throughout the collection started with the Dopp Kit, as we wanted something that would ensure the smallest of items was easy to identify when rummaging around after a long night. The hinged opening offers the easiest access of any dopp we've tested, while the snap-shut closure ensures everything stays in place when on the move. And, of course, it easily fits inside the Billykirk x Uncrate Carryall when an overnight stay is in order.
Height: 6" / Width: 7.5" / Depth: 4.5"
Nearly two decades after founding Billykirk to counteract the trend of fast fashion and fly-by-night manufacturing, New York-based brothers Chris and Kirk Bray are still turning out some of the best American-made goods around. That's why we could think of no one better to partner with on a comprehensive set of bags that can stand up to a lifetime of use while remaining timeless in design. The three bags in the set were deliberately chosen to be the ideal set needed for a long weekend away when combined, while remaining as standalone bags for the day-to-day once you return home. Each is trimmed in our own American Bison hide and is lined in a durable Ranger Tan nylon that makes things on the inside easy to spot, both of which are exclusive to the Billykirk x Uncrate collaboration. Each bag is cut, sewn, and trimmed by hand in the Billykirk studio in New York by a set of master craftsmen and the Bray brothers themselves. When we went looking for an un-briefcase that wasn't like the other mini-suitcase-looking situations already out there, we got ahold of the brains behind San Diego-headquartered Bradley Mountain. The result is the Uncrate edition Courier Briefcase. Crafted from water-resistant waxed canvas and English bridle leather, the collaboration bag comes in our signature all-black combo and is finished with hand-set brass rivets. A minimal interior fits up to a 15" laptop, several journals or books, and all the memos and recordings that you'll need for your day as Special Counsel. It's also got three exterior pockets, a reinforced leather bottom, and comes with a removable shoulder strap. Measures 18" wide x 12" high x 3.75" deep.
Searching for barware that's as interesting as today's modern cocktails, we partnered with North Drinkware on a collection of smoked glass mountain range tumblers. Made in Portland, each set contains two hand-blown, 8 oz. cocktail glasses in a custom smoked translucent black. Using data from the United States Geological Survey, a two-day, fifteen-step process forms the molds of Mt. Hood (Oregon), Mt. Rainier (Washington), or the dual peaks of The Maroon Bells (Colorado) inside the bottom of each tumbler, ensuring the natural topography of each is perfectly represented. The limited edition sets also include leather and felt coasters produced by the artisans at Spooltown in Portland, and arrive in a handmade wooden stash box. Limited to 50 sets per mold, our collaboration with North is a commitment to the original makers of these patented, American-made designs.
The Wilder is the bag Bradley Mountain is most proud of. A versatile, 28-liter piece that handles trips abroad as well as it does the daily grind. Which is why we love it, too. The Bradley Mountain x Uncrate Wilder Backpack takes the field tan of the original and replaces it with black waxed canvas and black oiled leather. Its folding top provides additional protection from the elements, and the multitude of pockets and straps keep your gear sorted and secure. Finished with solid brass and copper hardware and button stud closures, it's made by hand in San Diego and limited to just 15 examples.

You already know you should try to buy tools that'll last a lifetime. But what about your toolbox? Handmade from 75-year-old reclaimed tropical walnut from Nicaraqua, our latest collaboration is finally complete, and it's one you'll want to keep forever. The Poritz & Studio x Uncrate Toolbox is a handsome tool carrier that's been ebony stained on the outside and left a natural walnut on the interior. A simple storage system keeps smaller items in the top tray and larger items down below. It's also a woodworking wonder in its own right, using intricate finger joints for all corners, and a slotted lid and tray that are perfectly integrated with a sleek handle that emerges from the bottom of the box. Standing at a manageable 18 x 8 x 10 inches, this isn't an 8-foot-tall garage beast with speakers and a phone charger, but more of a home for the tools and gear you need quick access to as you maintain your Money Pit. And actually, this toolbox might just make you want to keep your tools even handier — like on a shelf in your living room.
Summer is around the corner. And if you're going to carve your way down to the corner store or your corner office, it might as well be on a board as beautiful as the Woolsey x Uncrate Land Cruiser. In our latest collab, we worked with Sean Woolsey, the Los Angeles woodworking guru of jigsaws and jointers, to create the limited edition all-black board. Made of ebonized walnut, the deck is topped with recycled crushed glass grip tape and comes ready-to-roll with Abec 7 bearings, black OJ wheels, and black Bennet Vector trucks. Half art piece, half beater board, you can make it a daily driver or hang it on your wall. Limited to 25 boards.
We heard there's a big game this weekend. So we went to our friend Paul Cunningham at Leather Head to see if he could build us something special — something like a high-quality all-black football that would both stand out on the field and look beautiful on a shelf. For our Leather Head x Uncrate Football, we decided on our signature shrunken bison leather, which has a natural texture and ages beautifully. Like all of Leather Head's made-in-the-USA footballs, it's perfectly sized for mere-mortal-hands and impromptu backyard games, but we can't guarantee it's inflated to NFL regulation standards.
When we decided to make a pair of moccasin-style boots, we knew two things — that we wanted a special signature leather, and that we had to go to the only place in America where they're still sewing boots by hand. So we poured over samples until we found a source for rare shrunken black bison hides, and then we consulted with our friends at Oak Street Bootmakers, who helped grant us access to one of the last remaining boot factories in Maine. Inspired by the Ranger boots built for New England Guidesmen of the 1930's and 40's, the Oak Street x Uncrate Hunt Boots are the result of months of planning, sourcing, and crafting. The textured silhouette, with a fit more like a glove than a boot, is steeped in traditional, century-old techniques with a hand-sewn moc toe, wax stitching, and rawhide laces. Rollmoc construction helps with water resistance, and an updated Vibram outsole keeps you grounded properly. The Oak Street x Uncrate Hunt Boots are ready for decades of your own adventures, and we're proud to have had a hand in bringing them to life.

They're back. When we did the first edition of our sold-out driving sunglasses, we of course went with an all-black matte frame (because everything looks better in black). When it was time to reissue them, the eyewear gurus at Warby Parker helped us to craft a new Whiskey Tortoise version that's just as handsome as the original. Designed from the ground up for driving, and looking good while doing it, the limited edition Warby Parker x Uncrate Model X1 Sunglasses succeed on both fronts, if we do say so ourselves. Each pair is made with premium acetate and comes equipped with Zeiss Ri-Pel-coated lenses to give you extra protection on the road. The Model X1's curves were inspired by sports cars of the 1960's, and are just as timeless and functional as those beautiful machines. As usual with Warby Parker eyewear, for every pair of Uncrate edition frames purchased, a pair of glasses will be given to someone in need.
Our first collaboration with the grooming gurus at Harry's sold out fast. Very fast. So we're back with another one, this time with a special addition. The new, all-black Harry's x Uncrate Shave Set includes a stealth Truman razor with German-made black blade cartridges, a black travel cover, Harry's excellent shave cream, and, new-to-the-set, a black anodized aluminum razor stand. Available in limited quantities, so act fast if your face fur is getting out of hand.

For the last 30 years, Danner has been making what are universally known as the best hiking boots money can buy. As a trip to Iceland loomed for the first issue of Uncrate Magazine, we teamed up with Danner to design a pair we'd want to wear all winter long, no matter where our travels took us. The Uncrate edition Mountain Light Boot, in a colorway never before offered, is built by hand in Portland, Oregon, of a dark black suede paired with all-black hardware and a natural white Vibram Cristy outsole, which will work on just about any terrain. Inside, they've got a waterproof Gore-Tex lining to fight the elements. Danner stitch-down construction means they're also repairable — so you'll be wearing these for another 30 years or so.
