Nissan Frontier PRO-4X Overland Expo Ultimate Build Truck

Last year's Overland Expo Ultimate Build was a GMC Sierra 2500 HD. This year Overland Expo deliberately went mid-size with the selection of the Nissan Frontier PRO-4X, which is compact enough to actually fit narrow forest roads and canyon switchbacks. AllDogs Offroad Coop out of Lincoln, Nebraska ran the build, swapping in an AllDogs Extended Travel suspension with FOX coilovers and piggyback shocks, adding NISMO rock sliders, a ComeUp 9.5rsi winch, Nokian Outpost nAT tires on Black Rhino Tembo wheels, and a Borla cat-back exhaust. A Tune Outdoor M1L camper drops into the bed and brings real sleeping quarters, a kitchen, and a Rixen's hot water shower. Power runs through a REDARC Scout panel and Battle Born LiFePO4 batteries; a Travoca 60L dual-zone cooler handles provisions, and a Taruca 270 XC awning extends the living space when parked. Midland MicroMobile radio and onX Offroad navigation kick in on the miles past cell service. The truck tours Overland Expo events through the year before going up for auction on Bring a Trailer this fall, with all proceeds to the Overland Expo Foundation.
