Tangent Urban Safari 911
Tangent Design Group, an industrial design studio in Chicago, built the Urban Safari 911 as a passion project rather than a client commission, distilling 20 years of design work into a single car. It started with a 2021 Porsche 911 4 AWD, finished in a Paint-to-Sample Black Olive over tan interior, and every bespoke part was made to fit with factory-level tolerances, down to a rear windshield wiper, a genuine necessity on an off-road 911. The standout piece of engineering is a first-of-its-kind 3-inch lift kit, raising the car enough to fit larger off-road tires without confusing the 911's factory suspension electronics. A full duck-tail rear wing and bespoke aluminum wheels, forged in partnership with Brixton Forged, finish the look. It exists as a one-of-one.
