The Underground Railroad

The 2016 Pulitzer Prize-winning novel by Colson Whitehead is being adapted into a limited series. Directed by Oscar-winner Barry Jenkins, it will star Thuso Mbedu as Cora Randall, Chase W. Dillon as Homer, and Aaron Pierre as Caesar, with Joel Edgerton as Ridgeway. The Underground Railroad is slated for release on Prime Video on May 14, 2021.

    Super assassin and son of the Mandarin, Shang-Chi is the next superhero in the Marvel lineup. Set to be the 25th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the film will follow the Master of Kung Fu living a normal life in San Francisco, until his father and the Ten Rings organization come back to retrieve him. Starring Simu Liu, Awkwafina, and Tony Leung, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is slated for release in theaters on September 3, 2021.

    Video game publisher Dotemu has announced the latest addition to the TMNT franchise. Inspired by classic video games like 1991's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time, Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo, and Donatello are returning in glorious pixelated form for a retro-style video game. Shredder's Revenge sees the heroes in a half shell take on classic villains Bebop, Rocksteady, Krang, and Shredder throughout the sewers, New York, and even Dimension X. Developed by Tribute Games, the beat 'em up will be available on Nintendo Switch later this year.
