Singer DLS Turbo Firefly Commission Porsche 911
Singer founder Rob Dickinson, the former frontman of the English rock band Catherine Wheel, picked the 911 Firefly Commission as a central display for the 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed. As part of the event, Singer's chief test driver drove it up the hillclimb at full speed. It is one of only 99 DLS Turbos, Singer's turbocharged rebuild of the 964-generation Porsche 911, and one of about 10 built with right-hand drive. A 3.8-liter twin-turbo flat-six, enlarged from the 964's original 3.6 liters, makes 710 horsepower under a carbon fiber body. The paint is solid Tangerine over an orange leather interior, and you can switch the car between a track setup with a larger rear wing and a road setup with a ducktail spoiler, with bespoke flight cases to store the parts that come off the car. It is now for sale, offered directly by the owner who commissioned it.
