Typically it would take years to amass a collection of whisky spanning six decades. The buyer of The Dalmore Decades No. 6 Collection will do so all at once. This one-of-a-kind set includes six bottles of scotch whisky, distilled in 1951, 1967, 1979, 1980, 1995, and 2000, with the oldest bottled in 2011 and the rest in 2020. Each one was picked by master distiller Richard Paterson and arrives in a custom crystal decanter with a bespoke silver collar, a sterling silver Dalmore 12-point Royal stag emblem, and an illuminated pedestal topped with black oak, brushed chrome, and sterling silver. The entire set will be sold at auction by Sotheby's in Hong Kong, with a percentage of the proceeds going to the design-focused V&A Museum in Dundee, Scotland.
