Ruark R710 Hi-Fi Console

Most streaming amplifiers dropped CD playback years ago. The R710 from British hi-fi company Ruark puts it back: a slot-loading CD player built into a single walnut-veneered or charcoal lacquer box alongside a music streamer, DAC, preamp, and 200-watt-per-channel Class D amplifier. A phono stage is included for turntable connection. On the streaming side: Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, Qobuz, AirPlay 2, Google Cast, and Bluetooth aptX HD, plus local library support via USB or networked media servers at up to 32-bit/192kHz. HDMI eARC allows it to double as a home theater hub. It arrives in October.
