For the first time, Steven Spielberg and Meryl Streep are together in the same film. The Post stars Streep as The Washington Post's Katharine Graham, the first woman owner of a major newspaper, with Hanks as editor Ben Bradlee. The story centers on the decision to publish the Pentagon Papers, a study commissioned by former Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara, that blew the lid off the US government's three-decade-long involvement in Vietnam. The Post comes to theaters December 22, 2017.
MetMo's latest creation turns mechanical obsession into something you can feel in your hands. Built around a precision-machined gear system, the tool amplifies input torque by a staggering factor of 16,384—each gear doubling power as it transfers force through the system. CNC-machined for absolute tolerances, it's engineered not just for performance, but for fascination. Even the locking pin becomes part of the experience: remove it, and reassembly is only possible when every gear aligns perfectly, transforming a simple mechanism into a tactile puzzle. It's a celebration of gears, leverage, and mechanical purity—designed to reward patience, precision, and an appreciation for how things truly work.

More than just a custom shop, Arch uses big v-twin engines set in custom frames and bodywork, with each bike tailored to its individual customer. It was the car that created it's own category — the pony car. The Ford Mustang took the chassis from the Ford Falcon and draped it in beautiful two-door, long hood-short deck bodywork that was the template others would follow. While GM's Camero and Firebird took a hiatus or disappeared completely over the years, the Mustang has never gone out of production. Here's how the original pony car has changed over the last 50-plus years.
It takes a deft touch to pick up bottles — when you're using a Sennebogen 830 scrap handler. The folks at DeBoss Garage showed off some serious heavy equipment skills at V&R Recycling, delicately picking up glass bottles and putting them back in a box. Obviously, the operator wasn't emptying the bottles himself — machinery this heavy and alcohol are a bad mix. Enjoy heavy equipment responsibly.
The grand finale drops this Valentine's Day as the curtain comes down on Mr. and Mrs. Grey in Fifty Shades Freed. The third film shows Ana being stalked by her former boss, Jack Hyde, Christian buying Ana a new home that comes with an architect who's interested in her husband, a car chase — and a few intimate scenes. Starring Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dorman, Fifty Shades Freed releases — you guessed it — on Valentine's Day 2018.
Sending it while chasing perfection has long defined Nyjah Huston's approach to skateboarding. The Nike Zoom Nyjah 4 builds on that mindset, reengineering the silhouette while maintaining the flexibility, grip, and responsiveness required for everything from halfpipes to rail grinds. A synthetic mesh upper with strategic perforations replaces the original Nyjah's construction, paired with a classic tongue for lightweight breathability. Reinforced with HART (High Abrasion Rubber Tech) outsoles, cushioned by an Air Zoom midsole, and stabilized with an integrated TPU heel, the Nyjah 4 refines the line's core design language while maximizing performance, durability, and control across any terrain.

During filming for Blue Planet II, the team took a submarine over 2300 feet to the ocean to see what happens when a dead whale corpse hits bottom. They found massive six-gill sharks feeding on the carcass, fighting with each other for the meal. The sharks were so aggressive that they thought the sub was competition — and started aggressively hitting the ship.
You hate your job. You've had it with your boss. What do you do? Spend a year animating a seven-minute short showing exactly how you feel. Tim Searfoss did exactly that in this excellent piece of storytelling about being a drone on the line.
