Flannel Shirt Cocktail Recipe

Few people know better the feeling a tried and well-worn flannel can provide than Jeffrey Morgenthaler of Portland, OR. In his drink, the Flannel Shirt, the mix of smoky scotch, apple cider, and bittersweet amaro come to be shaken together with syrup, lemon juice, allspice dram, and bitters which contribute a warming baking spice finish. It's comforting, it's delicious, and it's easier to make than an apple pie.
